Stefania is a dual-qualified lawyer with over 30 years of experience in civil, commercial, administrative, and corporate legal advisory services. She advises international businesses, financial institutions, and public entities on cross-border matters, with a focus on asset management, infrastructure, logistics, distribution, and regulated sectors.
Before joining SCAI Legal as a Partner in 2023, Stefania held senior roles at leading institutions, including Clifford Chance (London), Assicurazioni Generali, and the European Investment Bank. She served as Vice President at JPMorgan, working across London, Milan, and Madrid in the Investment Management division, where she focused on structuring, distributing, and ensuring regulatory compliance of mutual funds.
She later served as Director of the Legal Department at Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, General Manager of Italcontainer S.p.A., and Head of Legal for Cargo, Freight, and Logistics within the FS Group. She has also advised the Chinese law firm Llinks Law Offices, in London, on cross-border matters related to asset management and corporate law.
A qualified civil and commercial mediator in both Italy and the UK, Stefania regularly facilitates cross-border legal projects and complex negotiations. She is the founder of The Leak Pipeline, an initiative aimed at promoting gender equity in the legal profession. She previously served as EMEA Chair of LAWorld, and is a member of the Monterey Funds Club. Stefania has spoken on cultural competence at the London School of Economics and the University of Law.
